I have a missing lady, who I cannot find, for definate, on any census before 1881. Matilda Latham, I have her birth from the igi as feb. 1824. On her wedding cert., to joseph lacey in 1852, I have her age as 25 On the 1818 census she is a widow, and her age is down as 58.The only definate thing I know about her is that her fathers name is joseph, and that she was born and married in birmingham To add to the mystery I am 75% sure that this is her in 1851 1851 census Nelson Street West Birmingham James Latham,Head age 28 Engineer b. I think the age gap between the IGI record and the 1851 census is far to big at 12 years for it to be the same person, though not imposible, |
