hi, I'm looking for George Edden and family , Have found him on census , but would like to know how how many children he had in 1841. He was born in ingleton, Durham. but moved to Melsonby in yorkshire. Thank you to all for info . Helen |

When you 'have found him on census' which census are you referring to? Don't want to look up something you already have and if you are wanting an 1841 lookup you will need to state which county he is likely to be in. When was he born and where was he living in 1851? Sam x |

Looking at the birthplace of the daughter in 1851, it would look like he was probably in Melsonby Yorkshire in 1841. You would be better changing the title of your thread to '1841 Yorkshire Lookup Required' or similar. It may get seen by someone with access to Yorkshire 1841. Sam x |

well,hes definately not in ingleton in 1841........i've gone through it twice+most of it's pretty clear.......he must of been in yorkshire |
