I thank you for finding info for me earlier but now i need a bit more help. William Mckegg born York 1879. Married in Leeds 1898-9 to Mary Mchale. Her surname is misspelt on some records. In 1901 i believe they may have had a son John born in Leeds 1899, died York 1903. Any help please?

Sorry it`s ME being dense. Just overtired from working nights. I can not find him on the 1901 census. There is a lot of misspelling of the surname and i was wondering if fresh eyes can find what i can not. Sorry!

Sorry Darksecretz not them. oh dear. Williams mother was called Bridget but remarried in 1881 to a John Drinkell. I know both Bridget and John died before the 1901 census.

That is the right william. His father, Dennis died in York in 1880 Darksecretz.

Correct marriage but Marys maiden name is spelt wrong. Her name was Mchale.

Thankyou to all who tried to find my great grandfather. I can not think why i have not come on to this page before. You may not have found william but some of you found his father for me on earlier census`s. Thank you again for your time and trouble.
