If anybody wants to see the kind of information you'll get, Warwickshire 1841 has been on line free for quite a while, as part of the Warwickshire Ancestors' Project: http://www.hunimex(.)com/warwick/w-a-p.html |

Im hoping to some more of the Samuels tree, either living in cheshire, liverpool or Jersey. Also hoping for some twigs to the Saxtons and Beaumonts, but as there likely to be in Manchester im not holding out much hope as Manchester records ive found to be very hit and miss. Julie |

I want (need!!) to find my John and Mary Ann Letley in Newington (or somewhere near there) or Kent. Their daughter Amelia Mary Ann was born in October 1841 but I can't find them in the 1851. The variations on their name are daunting!! Also need to double check my Newtons in Newcastle. There is an elusive Richard in that family. Sylvia |

I'm hoping that some of my Manchester families who have not turned up in 1851 (due I am sure to the fact that so much of Manchester is missing in that year), will show up in 1841 and send me off on a few sideways trips. Tina PS It's not actually Manchester that is missing in 1851, just some of the census - just thought I had better clear that little point up in case anyone had visions of visiting aliens - yet again! |

Just so not too many are disappointed when the census finally arrives this is the information you will get. You will get: Parish that they reside in. name and age. occupation whether they were born in the COUNTY...just yes or no. You will not get : the relationship between those in household. house numbers; the street name is given in most cases but in some villages the streets are not even named at all. BUT, even so I can't wait!! Kat |

I hope I won't find my g-g grandfather David Davies in Somerset- he was originally from Carmarthen and I am hoping he was there in 1841 so I can find out if the family rumours of him being already married in Wales before he met my g-g-grandmother are true!!!! |

I want to find my husband's elusive London ancestors: a) James Robins, a man who managed to father 12 children despite never being home at census night. I don't have a definite idea of when/where he was born or died. b) Dennis McCarthy, who became James Carter in later life. He married in Holborn area in 1848, but I have no baptism for him. His father - according to Dennis' marriage cert was Callaghan McCarthy, but I can't find him yet either. c) Callaghan McCarthy - see above nell |

I've waited so long, I can't remember! I think I've tracked down all my direct line ancestors already, but it will interesting to see if I've missed any Out of County Skillings, and I want to nail the Lannings in London. |

I need to find some Jubbs and Russells. I also need to work out what's going on with my Mills', who are, to say the least, extremely annoying! |

I'm desperate for Kent and Sussex, my maternal great grandparents counties.just keeping my fingers and toes crossed that when they arrive I shall be able to read the images assuming the page isn't missing in the first place. I have a horrible feeling that these up to now untranscribed /non-indexed counties won't be in too good a condition and there will lots of bits missing. Kat, living in hopes. Alas, Eileen. only the mainly south and eastern counties are available on there. Advertising.....see my 1841 thread. I'm afraid it is hard luck if the counties you want are north of Warwicks or Lincolnshire or in the extreme south east ie south of Essex and east of Surrey |
