There are tons of people missing - I just did a blanket search for my Dixons in Rotherhithe Surrey and only a few came up and there were dozens! I think its a trial run and will probably disappear a bit later on. Coming back again next week more complete. Lets hope so cos Im so miserable about not finding mine.

I've been trawling through Ipswich one district at a time to find my Horsup's. I've found the one's in London though. Some of the pages must've been written in invisible ink. I will never criticise the transcribers again. (Well, not today anyway!)

Snowdrops- what am I doing wrong??? When I go into the census collection the earliest that now comes up is 1851, it says 'new' against it, yet 10 minutes ago the 1841 was on there too. Is it just me -am I going mad!!!!????

Hi Heather I guess this is still early days; by my calcs there are still some records to go; 1841 Eng = 14,718,638 1851 Eng = 16,410,926 1841 Wales = 987,489 1851 Wales = 1,157,880 Does anyone know how what the English / Welsh population was in 1841 ? Cheers...Paul

The 1841 is still there I have just been on it at 21.15 and it's all working as it was earlier. Snowdrops

I have just looked up (and found) a rellie, but when i went back to search for some more the 1841 has disappeared again!!! They must just be testing it!!!

Heather, I have had problems aswell, I could not find the ones that i already have on 1841 census so i did the click on county parish then description of enumeration on all the districts, then check through the pages untill i found them, they are their but as you say i dont think it is ready as the search does not always show the correct results Roy

Can't find mine either - sob sob. Mind you I haven't given it my full attention because I have a 6 year old practising her recorder right into my ear!!!!

No its ok Paul, bless you, I have the feeling that this 1841 isnt complete yet - they havent announced it or sent us our emails to let us know. I will hang on and torture myself for a while. Hey Paul, I reckon between us we WILLED them to put it on!

Heather, Middlesex was recently added to the 1841 census on Origins net, so, just for you, I'll look them up and put you out of your misery. What are their names?

HI Heather Think it is the full census the 1841 Channel Islands is there and the Isle of Man Like you can't find my missing rellies. My gt grandfather he only shows up in the 1891 census and he was b in1826 Not had much luck in channel Island as well Got a possible for one in Lancashire but willhave to do more checks Bren

There's quite a bit missing completely. I'm betting my Ellen is on the part that's not there ;(

I was SO EXCITED to find it on when I came home but choked my most important guys in Stepney arent there. As they havent announced it yet, do you think its just a run through with only part completion.
