Nan says shes sure nearest cemetery is Ilford Cemetery. Does this make sense. Not doubting her but at 86 she is a little forgetful and confused.

Hi Dawnie, Chadwell Heath is very close to Romford and there is a big cemetary in Crow Lane, Romford. Marilyn

Don't know if this will be any help but there is another cemetary in Whalebone Lane which is near Chadwell Heath. My husband had to find out about a grave there and they were very helpful, when I manage to get a reply from him at work I'll ask who he phoned and let you know. I so hope this helps you as it will be the first time I've been able to offer help to someone else, it's usually me doing the asking!!!

Diane Eustace Road was where grans aunt lived and her grandparents lived and she lived with them til she was 14 the next road over at Broomfield Cottage. Apparently Nan used to take the flowers her granddad grew to the end of their road and sell them to the commuters. One of the uncles was a Butchers at Carters don't suppose that is still around though

Tracey Gran is certain its Ilford Cemetery so maybe that one. Gt grans birth was registered in Romford but her siblings were all Saffron Walden. Talk about confusing

The one I'm talking about is at the turn off from the Moby Dick traffic lights. My nan and grandad lived in Kenneth Rd. Which I've just looked on a map is off Eustace Road. What a small world!! Dianex
