When looking for a marriage, of getting the name of the partner to come up? I have the wife but she is on the page with one other woman.......surely there is a way of discovering the partners?? I'm sure I managed to do this once, quite by accident but have now forgotten. Jen

Have you tried searching the FreeBMD website for the same marriage and see if they have transcribed the partner's names? It may be that they are so difficult to read that this is why they've not been transcribed. If you click on either the glasses or page number, can't remember which!, on the FreeBMD website once you've got the marriage record up on a list after searching, you can see if it gives more names than Ancestry did. 1845 Sept Q is only just over 20% transcribed, which is why there are only two names showing so far. Have you looked to see the marriage is on Family Search? Merry

Shame, I was hoping it would be in the golden 1866-1920 period so that you can bring up a marriage match on the familyrelatives.org site. Sorry.
