I am trying to prove that my great grandmothers parents were Samuel and Esther Michaels.... see below

My great grandmother was Kate Michaels born about 1852. Died in 1896. On her marriage certificate (1870) she says her father was Samuel Michaels Decd. The only deceased Samuel I could find (& I have the death cert), died in 1864, aged 78. I have Samuel with his wife Esther on 1841 census (he was 30 years older than her) with 2 children, Joseph and Michael. I have found Samuel & Esther on the 1851 census with 4 children now, Sarah & Elizabeth. But I cant find them on the 1861 census. Samuel was still alive. I was hoping that I would find them with Kate and then prove that Samuel & esther are my gt gt grandparents.. but I just cant find them Sorry for the long winded story.. hope someone can help.. Good point, sorry Samuel & Esther 1841 census, St Botolph, London 1851 census Islington, London On 1871 census, Kate born Middlesex, 1881 census, Kate born Islington I cant find Kates birth at all...I have looked through about a span of 10 years but nothing.. my estimate of her date of birth is based on her marr cert & census Samuels death place was Gt Prescot Street, Whitechapel

hmm, Sue could be a coincidence, because that Samuel is unmarried and a general agent.. although mine is a general dealer (not too dissimiliar)..

Thanks Mary, I saw that one, but the Kate is at least 10 years too old.. I think this could be a brother of Samuel possibly though....
