Hi Jo :-)) The IGI records for this area seem to be largely complete for this period. There's only one Thomas listed for Ripley. Thomas Daws b.19 Oct 1801 c.14 Nov 1801, Send & Ripley - parents John & Mary. There are 11 other christenings recorded between 1780 and 1805, including my 5 times great grandmother Anne. Haven't found a marriage for John and Mary though. I'm working my way through the kids one at a time to find out what happened to them - all the male ones are farmers ! So ner ner - you're related to me ! Rick. |

I have checked to see if they are on 1837online version of the 1861, but they don't seem to be.....so maybe the pages are truly missing, rather than just not covered by Ancestry! Merry |

Well I bet they are still in Pyrford. In 1851 there are 365 people listed for that parish, but only 160something in 1861. Back to nearly 357 in 1871 Merry |
