I can see nothing indicating a requirement to say where you're studying.................. :-S :-S :-S

What would be the point of that?

British Newspaper Archives doesn't have the Daily Telegraph after 1919. and nothing about Horace in any other newspaper, either.

It needs confirmation from institution where you are studying

Don't they offer a 7-day trial?

ErikaH - yes, I was hoping there would be someone here with a subscription to that site who would be willing to do the lookup for me. Fingers crossed.

Your friend may have to pay to get the info......the newspapers accessed via Ancestry are a separate site

Whichever gives access to Daily Telegraph, I'm afraid I don't have subscriptions to them myself. I got the above information from Ancestry.

From FMP.................MBE awarded 1967. He was Dean's Verger at St Paul's Cathedral. No indication of the reason for the award
