Can anyone tell me if there are records for asylums in and around Norfolk for about 1911. |

The institution will appear on the normal census records - inmates were often recorded only by initials and surname |

unfortunately some of the asylums, as indeed the prisons or other institutions, listed the inmates by initial only, which makes life difficult for research :-( |

Brilliant find CRG - it is definitely Jex, as the 1st letter is identical to the J in Jane found further up. |
