At the end of the day as Potty has already said the only sure way to establish who Alfred Alfoso's parents were will be to obtain a copy of his birth certificate: |

Have just check the dates, if Dora was married to Alfred i can't of been 1875 as she was born 1880, so she didn't exist then.....getting a bit complicated, I think ihave looked on FMP, like most things on this site it usually comes up with have no one with that name, it does that every time I put a name in...probably me, it's as if no one exists..LOL...xx |

Thank you all so much for your help, I think these are the two parents, but some people who I'm helping won't be happy untill we get a marriage, I'm thinking that maybe dora's family was in Malta for a while (maybe forces) and they met and married there, that's the only solution i can come up with,,,You have all been great thanx again..xx :-D :-D |

Thanx, i have looked for a marriage but can't find one, I know the desalvo family originate from Malta, i'm wondering if maybe the father actually got married over there then had the children, we all thought that his name was also Alfred and his wife was dora rogers, but then no one could find a marriage, i don't understand why they are not on the census, Looks like that Dora Rogers was the Mother, they were over here for the 1911 census...all very confusing, I do appreciate your help..xx :-) |

One of the children's birth certs will give you their father's name. Or you could try looking on freebmd for a marriage: |
