Hi all,
I have no living grandparents or great grandparents and no one really to ask about my family tree. I know very little indeed. Some very nice people have helped me to find one set on great grandparents but I hope to find the others if possible.

I would really appreciate any help with finding my great grandparents and their children. My great grandparents are ...

David George Morgan and Margaret Jane Morgan (she was born in 1893). I believe they lived in West Dean (Forest of Dean) and had 5 children in total. One being my nan Beryl Morgan born in 1928. I don't know much more than that.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure about Beryl's birth year as West dean comes under Gloucestershire county and this is the only birth i can find around that time

I'm pretty sure she was born in 1928 as I found that out through my dad's birth certificate. A distant cousin has confirmed this. I know she grew up in The Forest of Dean but I couldn't find here there either. She later moved to Pontypridd. I'm not sure what else I can do? I know her dad was called David George Morgan and her mother's name was Elizabeth, she was born in 1893.

Could I go to a library in Gloucestershire to find this out?

Was her mother's name Elizabeth or Margaret Jane, as in your first post?
How are you sure about her birth year please?

Sorry Alviegal, I'm getting tired as I've been on here all night. (it's very addictive!) I do apologise. Maragaret Jane is her name. I found Beryl's death certificate on here and have asked my cousin and she states that she was born in 1928.

Beryl was born in June...could it still be her?

Too many Morgan children with mother's maiden name Davies in Monmouth to tell which are yours.

Margee, this appears to be the Miles marriage, so wrong family.
