Hi, i don't no if anyone can as i don't have alot of information.
I am looking for marriage records (and birth records if possiable)
for my great grandparents.

i only have a bit of information for my nan and grandad, but not much.

So i am looking for the marriage between
A male Yates and a female Thatcher,
all i no is that they had a son called Albert william yates born in 1927
in hackney, england.
His birth records show volume number 1B and volume page is 583

Also looking for the marriage between male williams and female harris.

sorry still not much information, all i no is they had a daugher called Lilian Louise williams, born 1927 (they have her registed on here as 1928, see was born 27 dec1927, so i take it she wasn't registed till january 1928)
i hackney, england
Her birth records show volume number 1B and volume page is 698.

Soryy it's not much information but that is all i no, can't ask family, sorry.

Have you looked for possible marriages at the free site www.freebmd.org.uk

A very easy site to use.

Also a copy of either of the birth certificates you detail will give you the forenames of the parents. You can purchase copy certificates online from www.gro.gov.uk They will cost you £9.25 each including postage.

Might be simplest to get the birth certs really. For Louisa I would think it essential as the surnames as so common.

will try to get the certificates, i live in Ireland so will need to see if

Now in 1929 there is a birth for Eileen D Yates, mothers maiden name Thatcher in Hackney.

And it seems that the older Eileen Dorothy Yates died in 1921 in hackney.... so did they name their child after his sister???

Looking at the Williams Harris side..... tread carefully and definately order Lilians birth certificate.

There are 3 births in Hackney with surname Williams and mothers maiden name Harris and they are born extremely close to each other; Reg June 1921, March 1922 and Dec 1923.

Hopefully the birth certificates for both Lilian and Albert will put you on definate firm tracks.
