Theres no electoral registers that can be looked up for 1900.
You could google for Kellys directory

thanks for all that, yes i did manage to find morgans sausages and yes phil you are right they went out of existence in the 50s and manzills restaurant took over. actually ate in there myself on occasion.
was trying to find a link between morgans sausages/butchers and reg morgan but i could not find him as a brother or cousin.
trying to research for my elderly neighbour, on her dads birth cert it says reg morgan dad plumber, but he was not married to his mother. i obtained the mothers death cert and it says widow of reg morgan, plumber. but my neighbour and her cousin are convinced that reg morgan was wealthy and owned shops (they came up with morgans sausages) but as i said i could not find a link. they now tell me that he owned lots of shops in the balsall heath area of birmingham, and that he died on the pitch playing rugby. in their minds if you played rugby you were a better class of person than a footballer. not been able to find him tho. put his name into the igi and came up with a reg morgan dying 1923, as i know he was there in 1908 because his son was born and clara was a widow when she died in 1927. reg was 36, so would have been about fourteen years older than clara.
am going to pop to the library to see if i can see any notices or obituaries of a reg morgan 'popping off' on the rugby pitch.
thanks for all the work
