Is there any way to find Army records of men who served during the first World War? |

There are some on Ancestry.com, a lot of the records were destroyed during a bombing raid in WW2. If you do not subscribe to Ancestry someone on this site will take a look for you if you post the name, birthplace and year of birth if known. |

Can you get on the national archives site Ok........search people, then click army after 1913 (not officers) then a little down the page you will see search medal roll.........click search and enter the name and the result will come up.............I will just pop and see what to do next. |

Its a bit like shopping at tesco! Just click to add to cart, then follow instructions.........they will send receipt and a link to the card for you to download and save. |
