Thank you CherryBlossom and Margaret in Sussex for your help. I think the Josephiah Myatt is the right one. Beatrice was born in 1908. Suex

Made me jump seeing Myatt - my husband has Myatts in his family and you never see the name on here. Not related as far as I know unfortunately! Jan

How have you got back to Beatrice?
Keep an open mind on the year of birth - quite often family memories turn out to be incorrect or people add/subtract years from their age for whatever reason.
There were these two births in Warwickshire
Births Mar 1905 Myatt Beatrice Olga King's N. 6c 400
Births Dec 1908 Myatt Beatrice May Birmingham 6d 6
The second one is more likely as Birmingham registration district covers Ladywood, if you are 100% sure this is where she was born.
Do you know when Doris, Phyllis and Charles were born?
*************************************************************************** There is also this birth in 1908
Births Mar 1908 MYATT Beatrice Wolstanton 6b 151
I think this is much more likely to be the birth registration for the Beatrice from the 1911 who is the daughter of Josephiah - the births of all the other children on that census entry were registered in Wolstanton.
****************************************************************************
Is this Beatrice's marriage?
Marriages Sep 1932 (>99%) Collins Frank W Myatt Birmingham N. 6d 1030a Myatt Beatrice M Collins Birmingham N. 6d 1030a
If so, the certificate will give the name of her father and his occupation, as will the birth certificate.

Unless you have actually located her birth it's impossible to be sure of her birthplace. The boundaries around Birmingham in the 20th century are a total mightmare to unravel! (Says with feeling). Areas now in Birmingham could be be Warwickshire, Worcestershire or Staffordshire back then. For example, Balsall Heath - pretty much next door to Ladywood - came under kings Norton Worcs. till 1912. Sorry I have been getting dinner. Have managed to find that
James was the father. Charles and Doris were older than Beatrice and Phyllis. They lived in the Winson Green area of Birmingham.
I was trying to do my friends family tree for her as a surprise and present. Thank you for the help. I do appreciate it. Sue .

Beatrice was married to Frank Collin. As Cherry Blossom found it. I already knew that. I can manage the Collins side but it is the Myatt side. Sue
