Hi,yes i did mean my GR tree,do you lose any of the info on GR Tree when you export a gedcom file? |

No, your tree on GR remains as it is. Only a copy is taken. |

Althought I use FTM 2011, I still maintain a duplicate copy of my tree on FTM 2006. FTM 2006 although now dated is easy to use and also allows the visual saving of trees on disk as PDF files. These can be later printed if desired by using a PDF viewer. |

Yes I keep both 2006 and 2011 too, although 2011 is the one I use the most I do use some of the 2006 options occasionally. |

Hi,IGP.When i export my GR Tree does all the information about each person come with it ,or do you lose that,if so how do i copy all the information that i have about the people on my tree. |

All the data, information etc you have entered about each of the persons on your tree will be exported. However, as I said earlier, if you have attached any documents, photos etc, these are not exported. |
