i have 6 children born between 1913 and 1925 whose surname is GIBBONS and mothers maiden name was GASKELL. they were all born in Leigh Lancashire. I am trying to find the marriage of their parents and all i know are their surnames .I know it is a long shot but if anyone comes across a marriage with groom surname GIBBONS and brides surname GASKELL i would be really grateful

cant see one yet, you'll need one of the childrens birth certs to find their names

Best thing is to get a birth cert for one of the children really.

Problem is, there is no way to be 100% sue without birth cert., though as the name is Gibbons on 1911 I'd bet it's the right family.

I would take a good guess and think we're on the right tracks. I wonder if there are any WW1 records for Thomas, be good to find a pension record naming the children??
