I must be really thick (I know I am an OAP) but I cannot find that only the bit that says about his enlistment

Both wives are mentioned in his service record(Ancestry)
I will look for the death of his second wife.

Also interesting on his service record he says he is married but did not marry again until 1917

I have been looking at Dewsbury area all the time, did not think he would go to Kent, as you have said I must learn to widen my search.

Thanks, this is really interesting as he married my Grandmother Louisa Elizabeth Kingswell in Dewsbury 1904, they never divorced and she re-married on the I.O.W in 1914. He also re-married as you have kindly found out, so it looks like they were both bigamists. I contacted Archives regarding their Divorce and they say they have no record.

He was definately born in 1880 ish in Dewsbury (Mirfield) Yorkshire, Did you find this army record as per you typed it. Thanks a lot

He was born 1880 ish in Dewsbury. married 1904 in Dewsbury and lived in Dewsbury 1911 census.(not with his wife) Have tried free BMD Ancestry 1916. WWI deaths. Yorkshire register, where else can I look for his death.
