ive located my nanan's nan now my nan didnt know that this woman ever existed so trying to track down further back is becoming increasingly difficult for me. |

So, just to re-cap - you have found your grandmother's grandmother, is that right? And you are trying to find her mother, that is go back another generation and find wife of William Greenwood?? |

Most people on here would say that Genes is the most expensive way of researching as they don't hold any records themselves. I use Ancestry (which I think most people on here would recommend) but Findmypast is popular too. |

good luck with the baby!! spare time will be minimal with a little one around. If you get stuck just ask for help there are lots of helpful people here who will point you in the right direction |

Good luck with the baby - I don't think I could have managed researching my family history while I had little ones. When I first started on here (in 2003) I used to spend nearly all day in front of the computer and rush around for half an hour before hubby came home from work trying to make it look as if I'd actually done something all day. A spray of furniture polish in the middle of the room was enough for him to think I'd actually polished the furniture, lol. He obviously doesn't notice the dust!! |
