I have found her on the 1841 census with her Mother living in Stainton HO/107/1259/5 and on the 1851 census she is still in Stainton born Great Broughton HO/107/2383/152/5 plus I have her christening in 1791 from the register book of Kirby Broughton. As you say Jill is it an error on the NBI but the area is Stainton. |

Was Nutt Martha's maiden name? If she was married, could her death have been registered under a maiden name or the name from a previous marriage? |

Registration of births and deaths was not compulsory until about 1865ish so maybe it was not registered. |
