I hope the costs will drop or be available on Ancestry at some later date. No use at all for me at the moment as every county I want has not been put on yet, also wondering about the Scotland 1911 census. Does anyone know, please. |

Sylvia - I have no idea why you should think I want someone else to pay to look something up for me!!!!!!!!!!!. What I was hoping for and received were positive suggestions on how to investigate addresses on the system. |

Using the address search option, I found that there is a "6 Somerfield Rd, Finsbury Pk" - could that be it? (i.e. is the "8" actually the initial "S" of the street name, i.e. Somerfield?). I cant find any road in Finsbury pk with "field" in the name and with a house number of 68. |

There's a Somerfield Road in Finsbury Park - could that be it? |

Why not try googling old maps of Finsbury Park and trawl around to see if any streets seem likely candidates. |

Thanks Michelle. Having paid for the original census entry I feel less inclined to pay again for the transcript. |

On the transcript part the address is typed. If you have the census image then on there it is handwritten. |

Have paid to get my husbands grandparents original entry in the 1911 census. The address is handwritten and I am difficulty understanding the road. The address appears to be 68 Deckhfield Road, Finsbury Park. The field part of the address is quite clear it is just what comes before it that I'm having difficulty with. Any ideas? |
