help on a birth mothers maiden name

The 1901 census was taken on 31 March 1901. Therefore, depending on when her birthday was she could have been born any time between 1 April 1876 and 30 March 1878. |

If she married in 1894 she was probably a bit older than 17. Might be worth checking on Mary Aish born c. 1874 +/- 2 years. |

ok, stuck again....cant seem to find a mary chick born around 1877.....her maiden name was "aish"..looked on freebmd and nothing...... |

its ok, ive got it now....i remember viewing this last night (well 3am this morning) and for some reason was thinking william was 29 in 1872 so he wouldnt have had another child in 1901(lily) lol...i needed sleep!!!! |

I think you will find it difficult as there are 944 Chick births between 1894 and 1911 when the mother's maiden name started to be recorded. |
