can anyone suggest how i can find out if my grandfather died in london or newcastle he was bor n in newcastle upon tyne then moved to london biggggg place . all i know are his date of birth name and approx date he moved there . dont know which part of london at all and nobody to ask

ty his name was john ernest oliver b orn3/4/1905.i have rough idea that he went to live with a sister in london round about 1946-1950. no idea when he died or where unforunately i dont even know if he re-married. my grandmother and he divorced and we know anything else my grandmother passed away 6yr ago and since he was born in 1905 my mum presumes he may have also passed on

Do you know what his sister's name was? Have you looked for her and her family in the 'search trees' box at the top of the page? Any idea what part of London?

ty spiral . his date of birth is 3/4/1905 i have his birth cert and is definetly born in newcastle upon tyne . but im afraid i dont have his sisters name but i think maybe he had two sisters and i know the address as well that he was born

Are you looking for living relatives rather than his ancestry?

ty spiral how would i go about getting a copy of this cert as i seem 2 be a million mile away lol. can u find on a cencus around earlier years if he is in that district maybe ?
and if he has other family ie he married again i wouldnt want to upset any other family members

i would like to know if there any other family member,s but i dont know anything about my grandfather and would like too. if he did have other children then yes it would be nice to find out as our ancestors have a very intersting history here in newcastle and i have managed to get back to 1676

ty everyone this is the correct family i beleive there was also siblings frances a sister to john and maybe frances or may had a child who was called enid and this child died when she was 6mth old . but still i have no dates . spiral my best wishes are going to you and hope all is well

enid was born in the marriage that i know of but dnt think millicent is any connection but will ak my aunt who is starting to remember little things i pass onto her . second thoughts yes this maybe her if olivr is her married name

sorry im late in replying but yes my granda was born in 3rd april 1905 .i have his birth cert to confirm this
