by looking up my Great Uncle Thomas James Grooms birth and death for me as if it is possible i would like to order both his birth and death certificates.
This is the info I have on him.

He was born in 1894, he died 21/03/1918.
His mothers name is Ellan Neale.
He was born in Burnham, Overy Norfolk and he died in France.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Have you checked on FreeBMD there is a Thomas James Groom on there:
Births Dec 1894 (>99%)--

Groom Thomas James Docking 4b 301

Burnham Overy is in the Docking reg district.

Can I ask what site you found it on please as would really like to find his death details if possible so i can also order his death certificate.

Though i found that one on Ancestry which you need to subscribe to, you can use this one which is free

But it doesn't cover overseas, only England & Wales

have a look at the CWCG site as there are some T GROOM records coming up .you may recognise one of them

On the ancestry family trees is Thomas James Groom. It says he was KIA 21/3/1918 St Quntin, France and there is a picture of his Memorial from CWGC (Sergeant T Groom).

There is also a picture of him in uniform.

Perhaps you should contact the person who has the tree

Had a look on ancestry but will have to wait to contact the member until weekend when i get paid :-(, so i can pay to join and then contact the person with Thomas in their tree.
