hi there folks, I think that the Westmorland dosen't sound right for my family. Mary Parkin (who married a Moss) came from Lincolnshire and i know that she could have moved, but don't know from this as to if it says she was born in Lincolnshire or westmorland. Clarke is a name i haven't heard from. Does that make any sense. thanks for everyone for having a look. I think that my family in America has buried themselves in a bunker, ha ha. Her sister is easy to find or two ships, she is called Annie Jenkinson and her hubby George Jenkinson, can't seem to find them on any American census though, but know they came back to England for something. I know their brother was called John Parkin and he was put into an asylum, so it could have been that. thanks

Well, that looks like the same family that Jim found on the passenger lists that I found in Buffalo. Trouble is mother-in-laws name is Clark. Of course she could have remarried. Sorry to hear that you're having such a rotten week, Ally!

Hi there,
Please don't use your credit for this.
Trying to find a Mary Moss and William and children Thomas and isabella. they moved to America in 1867ish. I am hoping that they still lived in Lincolnshire and that Mary was born there.
Can anyone help please. Thanks Ally
