Yes a former marriage looks possible,but I cant find a marriage for Henry nearer to 1881, if you have access to the 1871 I would look up the ingram children and see who their parents are.... |

Depends how unusual the names are really. Try searching on just the christian name, year of birth +/- 2 and the area. Or the same for the surname. Sometimes less info gets you better results, especially if one or both of the names has been mistranscribed. |

i have got my ggm's birth certificate today so am armed with correct info on her parents etc... |
