I am researching my grandfather s family surname Bender and my Grandmother whose maiden name was Florence Louisa Martin .

thank you Pam yes thats the one Im after! the problem is was the Bender{second name}his mother Mary's maiden name?or what?as i cant get back any farther than 1841census,ie a marriage for Mary and /John Martin,or a death for John iether and he wasnt on the 1841census,and 1851 Mary was a widow.so second problem is where was he?? regards Jean

Any one got Alfred Bender Martin born1829/30 in their tree?? Mother/Mary Ann.......? Father / John Martin.
Alfred had a brother John born 1823/4 who was born{Blind} if so was BENDER their Mother's maiden Name?? if anyone can help with this little problem id be very gratefull. Jean
