Rose - I saw "haven't been a member for more than 10 years", but obviously didn't think this thru - something about two short planks springs to mind. |

Melissa - As you probably know by now, you can't initiate an exchange of messages as you're not a paying subscriber to GR. However, you can reply. |

Melissa - send him a message yourself. Just click on his name. If he has the same email address as in 2014 he'll be notified that you are trying to get in contact. |

Bob, thank you so much for your message. I was googling HRLD and finally saw your reply tonight! (haven't been a member for more than 10 years) |

Bob, you have seen that Melissa posted 10 years ago and is probably not checking back now, even if still a member. Try clicking on her name and sending her a Personal message - if she still has the same email address as when she registered with GR they will be able to forward your message to her. |

I'd appreciate any information about Horace Robert Linn Dillon, born 1871 in Greater London. He was a clerk of works, lived in Twickenham and married Mary Amy House, and had a son, Linn Dillon in 1904 (and probably others). 1881 census reads oddly. Any suggestions on the reason for this - parents may have done a runner by the look of it. Or would he be listed head of house even if they were only away on census night? Horace. 9 yrs. Head of house. Born London. Clara., 8. yrs. Born London. Linda. 6. Born Margate. Eugenia Legier. Aunt. 23. from Ireland. living at 6. St. Georges Road. Hastings. Sussex. |
