Find Ancestors

I am looking to find out what happened to who would have been my grandfather.
Joseph Walsh born in Belfast between 1916-1920. He joined the RAF, they were based in Sleaford which is where my father was born he was married Maisie Rankin and had 2 sons, Robert & Michael. Due to an infidelity the marriage broke down and they separated. My father, Robert saw him a couple of times after and around the age of 7 he never saw him again. He may have remarried and they may not have known about his past life. It is my fathers biggest wish to know what happened to him. A long shot but if anyone knows a Walsh with this history in their family please let me know. The last known area was Luton, Beds.

Do you know when Maisie was born- have you found her or Joseph on the 1939 register- this will give dates of birth for them.

Is this them in 1939? Did May remarry to William Ireland 1947? I don't have access. If correct perhaps someone can put up the information- as the dob for Joseph may help.

Enid died in Bedfordshire 2006. She had an interesting military career.
