I am looking for any info on Thomas Ekins=Elizabeth Moor. They married in 1767 at Blunham, Beds. Thomas took over 'The Horseshoes', still there, in 1769. |

It seems from the number of references I found on Google that you are looking to go further back, ie, finding the parents of both Thomas and Elizabeth. |

Following my first message, I am looking for the ancestors of Thomas Ekins c 1740. Thomas was one of my Great x 5 Grandfathers. I have a lot of info, both professional and from my own research from Thomas to the present day. Beyond Thomas the info gets more dubious. Bedfordshire Archives believe that Thomas was born c 1740. I have a record of a Thomas Ekins, Baptised 25th December 1740 at Wymington, Bedford. His parents are shown as John Ekins & Mary. Using educated guess work, I then go further back and have a record for the marriage of a John Ekins & Mary Clarke on the 11th July 1720 at Wymington I then have the Baptism of a John Ekins on the 15th November 1694 at Little Staughton, Bedford, his parents are shown as John Ekins & Grace. If these facts should prove to be correct, John Ekins & Grace would be two of my Great x 7 Grandparents. |

Brian, you utterly failed to acknowledge Sylvia's efforts in this thread, and then started a new thread about the same thing, contrary to the rules and inviting (and succeeding in eliciting) total duplication of what had already been researched |
