Found their grave notices in Macquarie park cemetery. Were they husband and wife and if so were they married in Australia or England before coming here.

OK
you don't give any dates or any help for us!
Is this the Eliza Cockley gravestone?
from:- http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi
Eliza Cockley Birth: unknown Death: Aug. 20, 1937
Burial: Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium North Ryde Ryde City New South Wales, Australia
No sign of Abraham John ............ did you find him on the same grave stone or on another one?
What makes you think they might have married?
When do you think they might have married, emigrated, been born, and where in England?

Thanks for the replies. Seems they were married then. My great grandmother was Annie A Sinfield, Abraham Johns brother. He took a while to find as she always called him John, according to my elderly mum. Sadly can't get any more info from her as she has advanced dementia. Can't find when Annie and Joseph Sinfield and family came to Australia. Know they were in Canada census in 1911. Am thinking there is evidence could have been on Marama but Can. never find Jospeh travelling with them. Always want needed what brought them to Austrslia. Maybe it was the family connection of Abraham John and his family already here. The note of 11 Roberts street and trade as dealer is interesting. As far as I know from mum he was what we called then, a rag and bone man. Used to have a cart and went round the wealthier areas of the north shore area in Sydney buying stuff. Mum wore a Victorian necklace which I believe came from one of his trips, on her wedding day. The rest is of the family lived at North Sydney, then Gordon later on. jOseh had built the house at Gordon that my mum and dad bought from him after the Second world war. Only just found the article re his father's death at the smithy. There was a ten year gap from then till Annie married Joseph Sinfield in 1891. Makes you wonder how the family survived In those days. Thanks again everyone.
