Kate Taylor is my Great Grandmother I am trying to find her parents. She was born in 1864, census from 1891 say she was born iin Saltaire, Yorkshire. Her marriage certificate in 1889 to James Edmund Barraclough does not give a fathers name. |

The Elizabeth Taylor in the1881 did have a daughter Ellen (on 1861 census) who married a Henry Appleyard in 1869. They are on the 1871 together but I can't find Kate in that census. |

Witness on kate's marriage was Ashbel Lumb,a Ellen Taylor married August 1869 to Henry Appleyard born 1846 in Seacroft a witness was Ashbel Lumly/Lumb. |

Having the same witnesses on the certificates certainly links things up, and if Ashbels wife Ann is related to Ellen that's good, thanks for that. |

Ellen's sister Elizabeth married George Place 14/4/1868 in Wakefield,witness's were Ashbel lumb and Ann Taylor and George Edward Walker and Sarah Walker. |
