looking for the grave - if there is one that is -- she may be in a 'paupers' grave. I am looking for Catherine Jenkins, who died 12/10/1906 at 7 Bright St Leigh, aged 39 years, I have contacted Leigh Cemeteries but they were rather vague, and wanted more info, but all I have is what I have above , that was obtained from her death cert? It lists her 2nd husband David Jenkins, as the informant. Has anyone used a site called Find a Grave? Any thoughts? |

She is not showing up on Find a Grave though it is a useful site, as is deceased online. |

Leigh Cemetery, Greater Manchester is featured on Billionsgraves. It has a number of headstone memorials, but not of a Catherine Jenkins d 1906. |

thank you. I am presuming she was buried in Leigh, I doubt the family would have afforded to take her back to Wales, where she was born, as David Jenkins was a coal miner so not wealthy. I have a feeling it will be an unmarked grave or similar. She ha been a very elusive lady on many an occasion! ;-) |
