Find Ancestors

I have traced Arthur Gillegan born 1873 on the 1901 and 1911 census. He was married to grace Miller in 1914, but living with Grace in 1901 and 1911 with children (did they marry because of the war?). But cannot find him in previous census. Any ideas? I assume he or his father would have moved from Ireland to Wales with Gillegan as his name

Yes safc the 1911 census is the correct family. Where did you get the Chancery Lane household from? And what year? Think it is correct as I was told Arthur was a chimney sweep? Not sure how I can link him to Asher as the 1901 census states he was born in ebbwvale Monmouthshire and 1911 states born in Cardiff Glamorgan. I guess Swansea is close to Cardiff?
