Why not give it a try?
It just seems kind of silly to waste your time asking someone else to do it for you ...
As you will surely know, in many locales, baptisms in the 1600s and into the 1700s did not show a mother's given name even.
If you find a marriage for the Thomas Alderson identified by Rose as George's father, that would probably answer the question
but presumably you have looked :-D
