I've checked all the usual records - definitely wasn't married to my grandmother. My mother took the family name of Ford as did all the older siblings, however I know that the father of the other children was killed during the 1ww. Mother was born in 1921! when questioned she would just say that her father died before she was born! I just want to know who my grandfather was |

Do you have their marriage cert? This will give you his father's name and occupation which may help find them on census records. |

I am trying to find ancestors of Thomas Walter Jones - he is named as the father on my mother's birth certificate (1921) South Derbyshire/Leicestershire/Staffordshire border area. Thomas is the missing link in my family tree. |
