	Hi would be very grateful if anyone can let me know anything about Maria Unwin ie. Parents siblings or date of marriage. She married Joseph William Batter b. 1811c.Uxbridge Middlesex. They had the following children Susan Julia Joseph Thomas Sarah Mary and Richard. Thank you.

	well the marriage cert should name her father ,if known unless they married pre registration ???

	In 1861, Maria says she was born ca. 1819, Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, and she is a widow with children aged 1 to 17 In 1871, her birth is again given as ca 1819 Chalfont, and she has children aged 10 and 18. 	Unwin appears to be a relatively uncommon name in Chalfont St Peters, and there are several Unwins on the 1841 census of an age to be siblings of Maria .................. but that is all guesswork!

	If you buy her marriage certificate, it should have on it the name of her father, and that would be a clue for us to follow. but it seems that Registers with neither her baptism nor the marriage are online
