You might have to buy their marriage certificate (£9.25 including post and handling, from GRO) in order to find the name of Ada's father ............. Ada M Wood is not an uncommon name!! |

Using John's birth date, he appears to be on the 1939 register in Grimsby (if it's the correct person) with a Helena P Storey. |

How sure are you about her YOB or her maiden name? She would have been 31/2 in 1916, old enough to have been married before. If you don't already have it, the marriage cert will certainly help. |
