Ancestry suggests this is her sister Rosie's birth, although a couple of years different from what her father put on the 1911 census form:

Four children were born in Paddington and Kensington, 1926-31.

The eldest married in 1945 in Kensington, and had six children in Paddington 1947-59.

The second child married in Kensington in 1949, but does not appear to have had children, at least not in England/Wales.

The third married in Lambeth in 1954, and had two daughters born Paddington 1956 & 1957.

The fourth married in Paddington in 1951, and had a child in Paddington 1951, with possibly two others in Eton, in 1958 and 1966.

There should be plenty of living relatives if you can track them down.

there is a John Selby 1900 in Paddington but no one else is shown in his household

although both households are in Woodfield Place

there could be a transcription error of course, and they could be in the same household

or the transcription error could be in assigning her the surname Selby, if they simply lived at the same address

these certainly do look like Eva/Evelyn and her mother

just a fairly random guess and only a certificate would say

She was definitely living with John Selby (my grandfather) until his death in 1948 and is named on his death certificate as his widow although they never married. Will now follow up on the information that has been given so quickly. Thanks
