Pratt Family missing on Ancestry 1911 census

Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 61 Send Message	When the 1911 census came out back in 2009 I got a transcriptionof the pratt family. I am with ancestry but I cannot find the original document with them also none of the Pratt details I search for do not show. I have searched the street address from transcript, house by house but no show??? the transcript details are- Pratt George Stephen Head Marrried M 26 lawyer London Deptford Pratt Ellen Lousie Married 51/2 F 26 Woodchopper Camberwell Pratt George William Son M 2 camberwell Pratt Ellen Lousie Daughter F 5 School Camberwell Address 6 Hatcham Road,Peckham, Camberwell SE. county London District Camberwell, Subdistrict Peckham North. Enumeration District 2 Parish Camberwell. RG14 PN2545 Glad for any help Ken ( Lawyer should read Sawyer.)

	I can't see them on the 1911 census. 	Good one, Andrew! I had a look at it. No reason for that mistranscription, the original is clearly Pratt.

Lawyer - Sawyer / Lousie - should be Louisa. I knew Hatcham road was in right area as daughters birth was in Penarth road nearby . Many thanks I can now donload a copy Ken.

	Although it is Lousie for both mother and daughter on original filled in by George Stephen.

	easy spelling mistake to make ............ I have a couple of Louise / Louisa in my trees, and commonly find them mis-spelled on all kinds of documents, and by their parents. For that reason, I only look for Lou* ........... that covers all bases :-) I even manage to mis-spell Sylvia on occasion :-D
