Walter Webb born 1871 son of William and Georgiana is my grand father only child to survive three other children Frances 1872 died 1873 William born 1874 died 1877 Alice 1876 died 1887 on each birth cert father is William I have also confirmed this at the Lowestoft records office .It looks as if she was not very lucky with children .1881 census it shows she is married but as William was not at home when census taken he was not listed it just shows her as fisherman wife.It is not until 1891 that she is listed as a widow . The closet any one has got to the death of William is the case you brought to light of Georgiana and the baby in the parcel saying husband dead about twelve months which would I assume make him dying between 1883/1884 where he died still the mystery my thanks to you regards Walt |

Chris looking at the 1881 census with the line trough fisherman some one once told me they do this sometimes it is to do with the way they count people .But the fact it says of her wife and married I assume he is still living I must admit I did find in the Lowerstoft records office he was also an agricultural labourer regards Walt |
