Geoffrey William Greenhalgh born Bolton 1919 mum nee Shuttleworth, it looks like his daughter has a tree on here with Stanley Greenhalgh maybe you should contact her to see if there is a connection to your Ellen.

Stanley Greenhalgh of 69,Turton Road Bradshaw Bolton a wheelright married Ellen 1/1/1916 he was born to Thomas (1845) and Elizabeth (1846) in 1886 Harwood lancs.

Ellen's address on his Army records was 72,Parkdale Road Long Park Bolton.

The problem, Mark, is that I don't think her death certificate will determine her maiden name or her father's name. It would be better to get the marriage certificate.
