I know that James was born in Shepshed in 1782 and that he married Ann Lakin Smith Feb.11.1800 can anyone out there add any more for me please? Lilian |

Could do with some infor on Ann Lakin Smith - I imagine her mother could have been unmarried and used fathers surname - I have come across this in my own fsamily records more than once - in fact my own Grandfather was such a case. L. |
