Could someone please find the Duncan family on the 1901 census in Glasgow.
Father Thomas and wife Mary (Jane ), both born c 1870 ish.
Children Thomas b c 1896 and Barbara b 1898.

Thats them, was curious to find out where John and his wife were born.
I have his name on his son's marriage cert.

Possible marriage given area of Glasgow the family were living in in 1901. (Have used a wide year range as may as well have as many results as possible for credits used)

If you buy credits on Scotlands People you would be able to view and download the marriage certificate. £7 buys 30 credits - above result costs 1 credit and it would be 5 credits to view. It should give the names of the parents including mothers maiden names. Should enable the right Mary Jane to be located.

You could also look at the original of the census (only transcripts available anywhere other than SP) and also look up the 1911 census which may tell you more than just born England for Mary Jane

Thank you very much for all this and sorry for the late reply.
I think the marriage in Kelvin is of course the right one .
I need to get some credits on Scotlandspeople and view it, also will take a look at the 1911 as there seems to be a Jessie Duncan missing in the 1901, although she may not have been born yet.
Jessie Duncan is a witness on son John's marriage certificate in 1927.

Thank you so much for this it's very kind of you.
I have just this past few minutes purchased credits for SP and looked at the 1911 census for the family which shows Mary J. born in looks like Manchester and also showing 2 more daughters , Jessie b.1904 and Maggie b 1906 but had not got around to looking at the marriage for Mary and John so once again Thank you Jude.
