Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 18,042 Send Message	I think the 1862 marriage posted by malyon may be discounted in relation to the 1862 baptism of a George Edgar Johnson. On the baptism the father is a cooper by trade. On the 1862 marriage (image on Ancestry) that George Edward Johnson is an iron moulder and both bride and groom claimed to be single.

Father: George Johnson - Merchant Seaman Mother: Eliza Ann Johnson formerly Mackerell - address; 4 Lavender Place, St.George, Middlesex Hope this helps located her family. 	I can find no marriage for an Eliza Ann Mackerell and George Edward Johnson between 1840 and 1880 on either Freebmd or ancestry. That makes me think maybe they did not bother to get married.
