hi Gr People
looking for info on a alexander Murray born abt 1893 born around Glasgow
any info in his parents and his sibling's would be great I have found one son I believe a James alexander Murray born born 21 9 1921 Glasgow I have a name of his wife/partner Frances McKinley but no info on her parents or siblings

If you order a copy of James's birth cert from ScotlandsPeople , it will tell you his parents' names, and when they married.

Having said that, there are two births matching the info you've given:

1921 MURRAY JAMES ALEXANDER M HUTCHESONTOWN GLASGOW CITY/LANARK 644/15 0956

1921 MURRAY JAMES ALEXANDER M MILTON GLASGOW CITY/LANARK 644/09 1130

When you've found James's parents' marriage, the cert will give you their ages, which will help in searching for Alexander, and also their parents' names.

It's such a common name that without more info he'll be impossible to pinpoint.
SP shows 6 Alexander Murrays born in Glasgow alone, in 1893 - but you don't know exactly where or when he was born.

There are lots of Alexander Murrays in Glasgow in the 1901 census, so you need his parents' names (from his marriage cert) to know which is him.

I'm not sure if you mean Frances was James's wife, or Alexander's - but can't see any marriage of a Frances to either of them in Scotland.

Nor in England/Wales.

SP is easy to search

Between 1910 and 1925 there was one marriage only between an Alexander Murray and anyone named McKinley/McKinlay in the whole of Scotland

1919: Registered in Kelvin
Alexander Murray and MARY McKinlay

In the same period in Scotland there were 4 marriages for a bride named Frances McKinley ( 3 in Lanarkshire) but none married anyone named Murray
