	Do you have a first name and approx year of birth? When you say 'sent' do you mean by her/his family/employers or as a Convict? If you edit your title to include the word Australia, people with more in depth knowledge of that era might be able to help.

	Doreen seems very clear that the crime was committed in 1800 ........... which means we're looking for someone born pre-1790 at least could that mean Old Bailey records????????

	There is a Private Family Tree on ancestry that has Thomas Lofthouse ........ the owner has to be contacted through ancestry to see if she knows any more..
