Hi, can anyone help please? I have a Jean K Hart who was born in 1933 in Lambeth to Frederick and Charlotte Elizabeth or Elizabeth Charlotte Hart nee Purdy. Have been searching for her marriage and have found this below. I'm completely thrown as I don't know that Jean was also call Clements. I have searching for a death for her under the name of Leinaweaver and aslo a death for Thomas R Leinaweaver and can't find anything. It may well be that they're still alive. I have no other details for Thomas R Leinaweaver though. Can anyone shed any light on this for me please? I don't know why the marriage would be listed under Clements and Leinaweaver. Have given the listing below which I have taken from Free BMD. |

Hiya, no I don't have the marriage certificate. I haven't got that far as yet as I am puzzled about Jean showing as Clements and Hart. I have still been searching myself. Not sure if that would be him as he and Jean married in 1953 not unless he went home after the wedding and then came back. I know it's a long shot but thank you for your input Gins. |

I think the Clements on the marriage record may be an error by whoever transcribed the record. |

Okay, thank you for this information. So do I take it that Jean K Hart did marry T R Leinaweaver, sorry if I'm being really thick. If this is the case then is there any further information on these two please? As before, they may well still be alive. I have input into my search his name and also her name giving the surname Leinaweaver but have come up with nothing. |

There is this passenger record of someone of that name going to the United States in 1950. If it's him he must have come back:- |

I can't find any children born to the marriage, or any other trace of them. |

Have you discounted this marriage for Jean? It seems a more likely one given that she was born in Lambeth:- |

Hiya, thank you all again for your help. I did see this marriage in Lambeth but what has thrown me is I have found a photo of Jean's mother which states on it Jean and Tom's wedding 1953. This family has certainly been a mystery all round. Also that marriage in Lambeth the man, Ronald Winter is living with Jean's mother in 1955. Sorry if I am leading you all up the garden path so to speak. I think I will concentrate on the Lambeth marriage. |

I think I would get the marriage certificate to Ronald Winter and see if Jean's father is given as Frederick. |

Hi again, it's strange if Jean did marry Ronald that she is not shown on the ER with him particular being that it is her parent's address. I will send off for the marriage cert next week. Once again, thank you everyone for your time and help. |

Ronald isn't with the Harts in 1956, Jean may have just missed being eligible to vote in 1955 depending when the electoral roll was compiled. |

Thank you one and all for your continued help. It's all much appreciated. I'll check that marriage in 1960 also. |

The Jean K Winter who married Wilson in Kent in 1960 may well have been the Jean K Winter who was born 1940 in Kent. |
